The Perfect Migration to Business Integration Server – the Platform for Worldwide Consolidation Needs
As one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, Magna is represented on all continents and has to guarantee the fast, secure, and transparent flow information both inside and outside the company where it communicates with customers and suppliers. In order to make this extensive information network more efficient Magna decided to consolidate its worldwide processes on a central platform. Another objective was to reduce the workload of smaller sites that have no EDI system of their own. Given the multitude of processes and the high degree of automation, however, not every platform is able to deliver the performance needed to ensure the rapid and secure exchange of data while receiving the required worldwide acceptance.
Moreover, Magna was looking for first class worldwide service and 24/7 follow the-sun support and was therefore in need of a high-performance, Linux-enabled platform that was delivered by a full service provider. SEEBURGER was able to impress Magna with the fact that it is one of only few full service providers that is also represented on all continents.
